Phil & Juanita Hill-Warner are the owners and creators of Rural Mechanical Repairs.
Phil completed his Diesel Fitter apprenticeship in 1996 at the Dalrymple Shire Council where he worked his way up the ranks to become the Fleet and Workshop Manager.
Phil's vast experience in managing a busy workshop and his strong work ethic coincided with his passion to deliver a high standard of work. This inspired him to start his own business from the ground up.
Starting out as a Sole Trader in 2001, Phil's business grew rapidly over a short period of time which progressed to forming a Partnership with his wife Juanita in 2006. They are now operating with a fully staffed workshop and administration division. With eight mechanical technicians ranging from apprentices to tradesman in diesel fitting, light vehicle mechanics and auto electricians the workshop remains the heart and soul of the business.
Juanita's extensive experience in retail management meant that Rural Mechanical Repairs could grow in both the mechanical and administration fields, thus resulting in the addition of a full-time accounts manager and two parts interpreters.
The team is fully equipped to handle all the servicing, repairs and maintenance on all light & heavy vehicles, commercial vehicles, trucks, prime movers, trailers, machinery and earthmoving equipment. In addition to this we are also capable of ordering and supplying spare parts & accessories to suit all makes and models.
All this leads to our current position of attracting a diverse range of customers from the rural, contracting, mining and commercial industries along with a great amount of local community support and repeat-business. We rely heavily on old fashioned word of mouth and over the last 15 years it has served us well.
"I am proud to say that having customers come back again and again for repairs for over a decade is truly an honour and one not taken lightly".
